Haunted Air

Membre notoire de Cyclobe, du Coil dernière période et collaborateur occasionnel de Current 93 et Thighpaulsandra, Ossian Brown collectionne depuis plus de dix ans les photos des fêtes de Samhain et d'Halloween. La centaine de clichés datés de 1875 à 1955 qu'il a ainsi réuni se retrouve aujourd'hui dans Haunted Air,accompagné pour l'occasion d'une préface de David Lynch.

Ossian Brown, dit de sa collection et de sa passion de collectionner des photos anonymes :
"I think a lot of them ended up in house clearance sales after the original owner had died, with no one there to inherit them, so they’ve become disembodied from their past – even more so as many of the people in my pictures are wearing masks, and as a result they’ve become untraceable, severed. So aside from scrutinising the houses and gardens, the old barns, there’s nothing to link them back to their families. There’s nothing left of the people behind the masks. They’re no longer wearing masks, they’ve become them – they’re like stranded spectres".
